My App Isn't Ringing; I'm Missing Calls
If calls go straight to voicemail but your app never rings, here's how to fix it.
Check these settings:
1. Notifications; Go to your phone's Settings > Notifications > RingCentral and make sure notifications are On.
2. Do Not Disturb (DND); In the RingCentral app, check your status. If it's set to DND, calls won't ring through.
3. Call forwarding; Log in to the Admin Portal and confirm your number isn't set to forward directly to voicemail.
4. Ring timeout; Your line may be set to ring for only a few seconds before going to voicemail. We can adjust this for you.
5. Background app refresh; On iPhone, go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh and make sure RingCentral is enabled.
Quick test:
Call your own number from a cell phone. If it goes straight to voicemail, the issue is in your call handling settings, not the app itself.
