I Can't Make or Receive Calls. What Do I Do?
Quick steps to get your calls working again.
Check these first:
- Are you connected to Wi-Fi or have a strong cell signal?
- Is the RingCentral app open and running (not just installed)?
- Is your status set to Available? (NOT Do Not Disturb or Invisible)
- Is your device's microphone enabled for the RingCentral app?
Step-by-step fixes:
1. Restart the app; close it completely and reopen it.
2. Check your internet connection; try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
3. Log out and log back in; this refreshes your session.
4. Check your call forwarding settings; if calls are being forwarded somewhere incorrect, they won't ring on your device.
5. Update the app; an outdated version can cause call issues. Check your App Store for updates.
