How to Set Your Business Hours and Call Handling Rules

Control when your phone rings, and what happens to calls outside of business hours.

1. Log in to the RingCentral Admin Portal at https://service.ringcentral.com
2. Go to Phone System > Auto-Receptionist (or your specific user settings if this is for an individual line).
3. Click Business Hours.
4. Set the days and times your phone should ring.
5. Under After Hours, choose what happens to calls:
- Play a custom after-hours greeting
- Send calls to voicemail
- Forward to another number

6. Click Save.

Tips:
- Set up a holiday schedule separately under Custom Rules so you don't have to manually change hours every time.
- Test your after-hours message by calling your number from a cell phone after hours.
